We are going to prepare a red berries sauce to accompany different desserts, ice creams and yogurts. It really is exquisite and you can make both fresh and frozen red berries.
Today I leave the recipe in a light version (without sugar). But you can also see in the notes part the proportion of sugar that would be used to make a red berries sauce with sugar.
If you like your berry sauce to have whole pieces of fruit, you can make it without mashing. If not, with a hand blender or food processor, blend the berries (this can be done before or after cooking). Or crush a little and not completely to obtain a medium point of both liquid and pieces of fruit that is good too.
It is a super fast, easy sauce without much elaboration. Healthy and light as it is sugar-free. In a few steps we will obtain an ideal accompaniment for different desserts.
Then, in another post, I will leave it to make a delicious filling for cakes or sweet glasses with the combination of this red fruit sauce and other ingredients, with which you get a really delicious and light result (excellent with chocolate cakes).
